Warp is such an exciting effect that it deserves special attention. There are two ways in which you can apply the effect. Use the Interactive Warp tool on the Toolbar to specify your own warp settings and attributes; use the Preset Warp tool to choose from a number of predefined settings.

To apply the Warp effect to a photo:

  1. Click the Photos button on the Navigation panel.

  2. Click the Touchup & Transform icon located below the buttons.

  3. Choose Warp from the flyout of options displayed.

  4. Choose a Warp tool on the Toolbar, either Interactive Warp or Preset Warp. Use the Interactive Warp tool to specify your own warp settings. Use the Preset Warp tool to choose from a number of predefined settings.

  5. Choose a Warp model in the Settings area. You are encouraged to experiment with each model, and observe the number of ways your photo can be stretched and pulled.

  6. Use the Size slider to adjust the degree to which the effect is applied.

  7. Select the Preview control to preview the effect before applying it to the photo. This control is NOT visible if the Interactive Warp tool is selected on the Toolbar.

  8. Click the Apply button when you are satisfied with your settings. The settings are applied to the photo. Note, however, that the settings are not saved permanently to the photo at this stage. You will be prompted to save any unsaved changes to the photo when you attempt to close it.

  9. Click the Reset button to return to the last warp effect applied, or to the original photo if no effect has yet been applied.
